Dialogue is a conversation in which people with different beliefs and perspectives seek mutual understanding. In today’s polarized society, it is quickly becoming a lost art.
The goal of this conference is to help participants:
- Reflect on how they communicate under stress and where they might need to strengthen their dialogue skills.
Learn skills that will help them to:
- Disagree with others while preserving the relationship
- Understand and show respect while not condoning what they do not believe
- Ask questions that show genuine interest and promote understanding
