recollections

To do well on exams, we make time to study.  To win in sports, we spend hours practicing.  Even to make the most basic decisions, we first consider our options.

To do well in life, should we act any differently?

These recollections are opportunities for high school  students to stop and review their game plan: What’s working, what’s not? What are my strengths and weaknesses? Am I winning in the game of life?

The few hours of the recollection are a much needed break to endeavor to see your life as God sees it – the only valid perspective.  Goals are set; plans are made.  Then back to the fray of life – but now with a new game plan.

WHEN:  1st Saturday of each month from 1:00 - 3:30

The priest will remain for as long as needed after 3:30

WHEN: 2nd & 3rd Saturdays of each month

TIME:    2:30 - 3:00 pm

classes on christian living

Classes cover the teachings of the Catholic Church.  They enable participants to understand the reasons for their faith and build a solid spiritual foundation.

RETREATS

Retreats provide an opportunity to reflect on one's everyday life in light of basic christian principles. Similar to a recollection, retreats are an extended time to pray, set personal goals and gain perspective.

These retreats are opportunities for high school  students to stop and review their game plan: What’s working, what’s not? What are my strengths and weaknesses? Am I winning in the game of life?

The 42 hours of a weekend retreat are a much needed break to endeavor to see your life as God sees it – the only valid perspective.  Goals are set; plans are made.  Then back to the fray of life – but now with a new game plan.
